TDC Cup - donations to buy time
The funds raised contribute to help prevent and cure prostate cancer by educating the public and by funding top-quality scientific research. In short, your dollars are invested in research, education and awareness to prolong the life of men afflicted with prostate cancer - your donations are buying time.
To determine the winning team of the TDC Cup, we will use the concept - donations to buy time. The more funds you raise, the more minutes will be deducted from your total time.
As illustrated in the table below, all funds raised over the base amount will reduce minutes from the total time. For example, a team of 6 cyclists must raise a base amount of $4500: 6 cyclists multiplied by $750. If this team raises a total of $9 500 by June 18th, they will have $5000 to buy minutes to reduce their total time: $9500 minus the based amount, $4500 gives $5000.
By consulting the table below, the $5000 will allow this team to reduce their total by 20 minutes for the three stages!
It is now up to you to raise funds to have a better time!
